LNG will fuel a new on-site R&D centre, helping to train more than 500 employees and commercial customers every year. LNG will also provide space heating for the company’s factory during the colder winter months. Previously fuelled by oil, LNG’s green credentials are a key driver for the switch, reducing the site’s CO2 emissions by 28%.

This major order for Cochran consists of four 20 t/h 16 bar Twin Furnace Thermax boilers, each fitted with Cochran Equinox burners with a full package of control and monitoring and a two stage condensing economiser system to maximise boiler efficiency. The boilers will be shipped in September 2016.

And the winner is.... Andrew Bell, Cochran Ltd Congratulations to Andrew, a fabulous achievement. Andrew received his Award at the Presentation in the RAF Club in London yesterday afternoon. ICOM Members and guests had an enjoyable luncheon celebrating Andrews success. David Young, Chief Engineer at Cochran said "Very well done to Andrew, deserved recognition for the hard work put in."

As part of Cochran's continuing development of the market the Cochran Simplex and Triplex ranges of gas fired pressure jet burners have now been independently tested and approved by the Southern African Gas Association (SAGA). The burners are now certified to meet the requirements of the local Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act 85 of 1993) and Pressure Equipment Regulation (PER) R 734 published 15 July 2009.
