Callum Kellie, Apprentice Plater/Fabricator who started in August 2016, and is now in the second year of his Apprenticeship at Dumfries & Galloway College, has been put forward for ICOM Energy Association Apprentice of the Year Award 2018. The event takes place on Thursday, 7 June 2018.
Callum had already gained a Level 5 qualification before starting his Apprentice with us and he aims to complete an HNC in Engineering.

Callum said being offered the chance to undertake an Apprenticeship at Cochran was a very proud moment for him. After leaving School his goal was to work towards becoming a multi-skilled Engineer and an Apprenticeship with a business of Cochran’s stature gave him a good solid foundation to build his career on.
Factory Manager, John Riddell who submitted his application commented that Callum has been a breath of fresh air since joining Cochran. He brings an infectious level of enthusiasm and a ‘can do attitude’ which rubs off on his peers.
Good luck Callum!
