Poverty can affect anyone at any time, whether you are working or not and at any age. There are vital Charities that offer food and support in your local area. With this in mind Cochran have made a donation to a local Charity called ‘The First Base Agency’. This fantastic Dumfries-based organisation which is ran by volunteers, provide food support to over 4500 families each year. Sadly they see first-hand that the demand for food/support packages are greater year on year, however due to C19 they have saw a dramatic rise in poverty in 2020.
If you can, please donate to a Charity, and help make a difference to someone’s life.
